The past two days have been rest days for me as I've been getting ready to ship my bike up to San Francisco for the ALC ride. Granted, I didn't hit my goal for this week or the week before, but I've ridden farther than I ever would've imagined I could in 25 days.
5/15-5/21 (Total: 250 miles)
- Friday: Rest
- Saturday: 56
- Sunday: 100
- Monday: Rest
- Tuesday: 30
- Wednesday: 33
- Thursday: 31
5/22-5/25 (Total: 217 miles)
- Friday: 45
- Saturday: 71
- Sunda: 56
- Monday: 45
So far this month, I've ridden my bike 1,034 miles. I don't think that's too bad for someone who just started cycling less than 5 months ago. Now, I just need to pack my camping gear and mentally prepare for what will hopefully be one of the most difficult, yet enjoyable weeks I've ever gone through. It will be brutal, yet fun...or maybe that's just the maschoist in me talking. We ride about an average of 80 miles a day along the California Coast - I'm really excited.
ALC 8 Schedule
- Day One: San Francisco to Santa Cruz (79.3 miles)
- Day Two: Santa Cruz to King City (107.6 miles)
- Day Three: King City to Paso Robles (66.7 miles)
- Day Four: Paso Robles to Santa Maria (94.1 miles)
- Day Five: Santa Maria to Lompoc (66.8 miles)
- Day Six: Lompoc to Ventura(85.5 miles)
- Day Seven: Ventura to Los Angeles (61.5 miles)
