Building an arcade machine has been an even bigger failure than Rocktobersaurus. I've been crazy busy with work, cycling training, and recovering from injuries so that I can resume cycling training, and I haven't done much work on the arcade machine. In fact, the few times that I did try working on it, I got so fed up with the cabinet, that I didn't even know what to do next. Building an arcade machine was supposed to be fun...trying to retrofit an existing cabinet into something it's not (with a lack of knowledge, skill, and tools) is not fun - it's frustrating.
I think I need to learn to build a birdhouse or something simple before jumping up to an arcade machine. Eventually, I will build an arcade machine. I'm just not sure if it will be living inside of the Zaxxon arcade cabinet which is currently taking up half of my "dining room."
