on one hand, this is a very short update: look, i made more cards. i think they're pretty. i'm still behind, but i'll catch up!

on the other hand, writing letters is still pretty heavy. in the past week i've sent two thank you cards. one was sort of cute and nice, but the other one was very serious. i had a debt forgiven that i wasn't expecting- happy birthday, indeed. i sent a note of condolences to one of my dear friends who lost her grandmother. my other two cards were maybe a bit lighter, but i hope my thoughts get across all the same. one told a friend that she inspires me and the other told a friend that i still care about his art. even when letter writing is casual, it still gets emotional. after all, these are my thoughts and feelings on paper, being sent to someone in hopes that they will read and understand what i was trying to convey.

i've decided as a way to wrap-up this challenge at the end of the month, i will make a list of each letter i sent and how it was received. for instance, if someone writes me back, i'll let you know. if i get a phone call or email about a letter, that will also be noted. these posts might wind up into May, but i'll try to compile everything.

without further ado, here are the past week's letters:

envelope back (since i sealed the card and forgot to photograph that):
